The new “Darwin Botànic” exhibition, inaugurated on March 3rd at the Hivernacle in Parc de la Ciutadella, brings together more than one hundred living plant species that illustrate the botanical experiments and discoveries of Charles Darwin. This exhibition, produced by the Natural Science Museum of Barcelona, will remain open to the public free of charge until May 31st.

Massó Garden has contributed to the project by supplying specialized plantcare products, which the museum uses across its various facilities. This technical support strengthens our shared commitment to scientific outreach and to bringing the world of botany closer to the general public.

The exhibition occupies the Nau Picasso within the Hivernacle and is organized into six thematic areas that highlight the essential role of plants in Darwin’s research—from orchids and carnivorous plants to plant movement and floral evolution.

A natural collaboration
This initiative has grown organically from the relationship between the museum and the Massó Garden team, united by a shared passion for botany, sustainability, and the dissemination of scientific knowledge.
