Its outstanding thermal and chemical resistance, quite good resistance to stress cracking as well as excellent electrical properties make fluoropolymers the best choice in insulated cables in aerospace industry and others.

Thanks to its superb low coefficient of friction, fluoropolymers are highly recommended to produce bearings, Bellows and seals standing high pressure conditions as well as corrosive fluids.

Crosslinkable polyethylene is obtained by silane grafting of the Polymeric chain.

With an extrusion process with silanes we get a commercial product named Polylink® Ready to be crosslinked by catalysis. Crosslinkable polyethylene is used in Pipe/ AL composite pipe for hot & cold water pipe for drinking or heating as well as for insulated cable.

Comercial Química Massó provides a wide range of TPU based on polycaprolactone (PCL), polyesther, polyether copolymer and polyether from our principal MERQUINSA.

As a novelty, CQM is suplying the range named ECO-TPU, these renewable-sourced TPU grades have properties very similar to oil based TPU’s, offering outstanding flexibility, endurance and mitigating global warning.

The company have TPU’s from shore A 70 hardness up to shore D 77. its excellent abrasion resistance among other also interesting benefits make TPU valuable in numerous applications:

Injection moulding: automotive, sport and leisure, footwear, technical parts, animal ID tags, seals…

Extrusion:barrier films, adhesive films, breathable films, pneumatic tubing, timing belts, transmission belts, hoses, cables.

Calendering: fabrics, conveyor belts, life jackets.

Compounding: specialty blends with TPEs and engineering plastics. Carriers for colour and additive masterbatches.
